The beaches of Amaliada

Kourouta — 6 km

Marathia — up to 8 km
Another option for a trip to the area’s coast. Check the route to the section of beach you want to visit before setting off.
Savalia (Kasidiaris) — up to 8 km
A beach in the Savalia area, also known as Kasidiaris. You can combine a visit with your stay in Amaliada.
Palouki — 8 km
A beach with a small harbour near Amaliada. Check the route to your chosen spot before your trip.
Skafidia — towards Pyrgos
An option farther south, towards Pyrgos. Check your particular route for distance and travel time. The 2026 Blue Flag list identifies “Skafidia/Aldemar” as a separate awarded beach.
Getting to the beaches

Staying in town also puts a supermarket 100 m away and the central market a minute on foot — shop fresh in the morning, make your own beach lunch and skip the pricey beach bar.
